Well, the sun shone and the Rummagers came in good numbers ready for the opening at 10.30. When the doors were opened, in they all came, many heading straight for the ladies and gents fashions, many more to the Bric-a-Brac whilst the children aimed for the toys and games leaving room for the collectors to have a good browse through all the books and videos that were assembled for them to peruse.
To cater for all their demands were parents, supporters and even a cub instructor!
An hour later and it was all over with very little left on the tables.
Thanks to those of you who brought items to the HQ - as well as those who sorted and were there on the day - as we had a very successful Sale achieving an incredible income of £453.
Over twelve years, has amount raised this way and all for the benefit of the boys and girls within our excellent Scout Group is over £6500.
So on now to the next one! Please save any suitable items for the next Sale which will be held on Saturday 27th March 2010
