Scout Meeting 17/05/10

Hi All,

On Monday night we asked each of our Scout Patrols to build a fire with a selection of materials prepared by the Leaders (tinder, kindling & fuel, etc).

Once the fires were prepared and lit, we then asked the Patrols to cook some bangers & spuds using only some tin foil.

Each Patrol managed to get a great fire going and they were soon tucking into the sausages!

The spuds always take longer to cook through so whilst they were baking nicely in the hot embers, the Troop played some games in the hall.

Finally the spuds were ready and some of them were garnished with grated cheese before being wolfed down by the Scouts.
