| Scout Meeting Mon 14th Feb 2011 |
Hi All,
On Monday 14th February we celebrated Chinese new year with some fun & games in Sutton Park.
We first of all organised a wide game called 'Jail Break', which is a different version of hide and seek.
We had planned to do several other wide games during the evening but this one proved so popular that the Scouts wanted to play it over and over again!
Half-way through our meeting we served up sweet & sour chicken with rice and there were plenty of prawn crackers to try.
Nicola, our young Leader, also tucked into some Chinese spare ribs all to herself !
At the end of our meeting we launched several Chinese lanterns up into the cold night air, which disappeared over the treetops never to be seen again.
We hope to do many more activities outdoors throughout the year.
