Scouts now meet every Monday!
We decided to hold our Scout meetings every Monday now instead of the usual one Saturday a month, in order to avoid potentially clashing with the troops other committments at weekends such as football, rugby and swimming practise.
The first meeting was scheduled for the 2nd February but was cancelled due to the heavy snow!
Our next meeting was held on the 9th February and during the evening we gave our troop the chance to put forward their ideas as to how they would like the meetings to be run and what they would like to achieve this year.
There are also plenty of exciting camps and challenges for us to attend this year, as well as an interesting variety of badges to go for.
We also decided to resurrect the traditional patrols and we will be creating these over the next couple of weeks.
The picture above is of our notice board inside HQ, which is full of photos taken from many of the events we organised last year. As you can see there is very little space and we expect this year to be just as busy, or even more hectic!
