Welcome back to you all and Happy New YearAs you will know from reading the last Red Border Articles that went out before Christmas, our Scout Hut is having a new roof and refurbishment starting in February.
This means that all sections are moving out for 3 months. We are all going to different venues as the leaders from all sections felt their meetings should be kept on the same night and at the same time if at all possible. We have managed to do this for the beaver section thanks to the kindness of the 2nd Sutton Coldfield West Scout Group.
I have attached a programme for the next 3 months and all meetings prior to the 4th February will be in at our own hut. I would ask you to refer to the attached so you know where to meet
As from the Monday 4th February 2008 we will be meeting at the Scout Hut on Highbridge Road. If you drive down Highbridge Road from the Wychbold Hotel, Birmingham Road end, pass Addenbrooke Drive (on your left) and you carry on a few more houses and the Scout Hut driveway entrance is also left hand side between two houses. Looks like a narrow driveway and can easily be missed from the road so please keep a look out. We are hoping to be back in our hut by the beginning of May but will keep you posted as works get underway. Click the "Location Map" button above to see where this is.
You will also note that we are meeting at Sutton Coldfield Library on two nights but have had to change the day as the library is open late on a Tuesday. Again the same time 6.00pm – 7.15pm will apply.
